The popular Korean variety show “Devil’s Scheme” on Netflix has recently been reported to involve fraud using P2E game NFT, with the amount reaching 8 billion Korean won.
The Korean variety show “Devil’s Scheme” has received great reviews on Netflix recently. The show invites experts from various fields such as entertainers, doctors, lawyers, and YouTubers to solve problems and engage in intellectual battles. Even watching an entertainment show requires a lot of brain cells.
Among them, Guillaume Patry, a professional gamer, has been reported to be involved in a lawsuit. According to a report by “BreakNews,” Guillaume is suspected of fraud in the NFT gaming industry and is accused of defrauding an amount of 8 billion Korean won (approximately 200 million New Taiwan dollars).
According to reports, the Seoul Reisau Police Station revealed that in July of this year, Guillaume and other related individuals were filed for investigation on suspicion of fraud. Guillaume has been involved in promoting the P2E (Play to Earn) game developed by Meta Adventure, an NFT gaming company, since February last year. However, the game was never launched, and more than 60 investors filed lawsuits against Guillaume and others.
Guillaume’s agency, Drama House Studio, released a statement stating that Guillaume confirmed he was only involved as a simple consultant and not as the owner or employee of Meta Adventure. We will faithfully participate in the investigation and do our best to prevent further damage.

According to the introduction on Meta Adventure’s official website, Guillaume is a Non-fungible Wizard, an ambassador for NFT and P2E. Although he does not hold an official position, he ranks first. When he appeared on “Devil’s Scheme,” the production team described him as someone who became rich through virtual currency. Guillaume also exhibited a clear-mindedness as a professional gamer on the show, but his mysterious side left a deep impression.
