1. Capsule Heroes
Capsule Heroes is a player versus player (PvP) fighting game developed by Endless Clouds Studio.
The game is still under development and testing, and it has not yet been determined how NFTs and public chains will be integrated. Bankless believes it is somewhat like a combination of Candy People and Overwatch.
The official token in the ecosystem is called $CLOUDS.
2. Duel Arena
Duel Arena is based on the Layer 2 public chain Base and is inspired by the card game RuneScape.
Players can stake ETH on Base and engage in one-on-one battles in the game to compete for the staked ETH rewards.
3. Fren Pets
Fren Pets is a game similar to virtual chickens and incorporates elements of Ponzi economics, game theory, and PvP in Web3 applications.
Although Fren Pets once received endorsements from Base, wallet activities related to it have declined from their peak on the 22nd.
4. Gaul
Gaul is one of the earliest games to integrate the MUD chain game engine. Players need to continuously obtain equipment, dig, and pave treacherous terrain in the wilderness.
Bankless considers this an interesting strategy game, and the team has been testing it on the Lattice-developed L2 “Redstone”. This hardworking team deserves attention.
5. Illuvium
Illuvium, based on Immutable X, was launched on Epic Games on November 28th. It has a game mechanism similar to Pokémon, where players can capture various Illuvials (creatures in the game) through adventures and battles, enhance overall abilities, and compete against other players.
The economic ecosystem is mainly driven by players purchasing NFTs and converting them into gameplay rewards. Free players cannot turn rewards into crypto assets.
6. Kamigotchi
Kamigotchi is a pet game based on the OP mainnet. It does not have a specific release date yet, but Bankless expects it to be released in the first half of 2024.
7. Battle for Blockchain
Battle for Blockchain, based on Arbitrum, is developed by the Minters team and is a strategy combat game of the auto battler genre.
Bankless points out that Battle for Blockchain is not yet perfect, but developers are definitely working hard to launch more game-related tests.
8. Pixels
Pixels is an open, pixel-style virtual farming blockchain game. It previously raised $2.4 million in funding with participation from Animoca and OpenSea. Users can earn the game’s primary currency, $BERRY, by completing specified tasks.
Pixels has been in existence for a long time and was previously operating on Polygon. After migrating to Ronin on October 31st and officially launching, it attracted a large number of new players.
