According to The Block’s report, Tether indeed froze 161 Ethereum wallets yesterday, but 150 of these wallets did not hold any USDT. The remaining 11 wallets held over 3.5 million USDT, with 3.4 million tokens being held by a single address. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT has linked this address to the recent hacking attack on the gambling platform Stake. The wallet in question was active shortly before the implementation of the freeze and has conducted hundreds of transactions in the past week.
