Binance Futures Experiences Malfunction, BTC Price Exceeds $400,000
On the afternoon of the 28th, the BTC/USDT perpetual contract market on Binance experienced a surge in price, exceeding $400,000 at one point.
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred on Binance this year.
Binance: Candlestick Display Issue
Binance immediately issued a statement stating that this was a display issue and that all trades were not affected. The issue was resolved within approximately half an hour.

Binance also had display issues in September
The same BTC/USDT perpetual contract market on Binance experienced abnormal price fluctuations on the afternoon of September 29th, with the price dropping multiple times to around $2,706, which is only 1/10 of the normal price.
At the time, Zhao Changpeng (CZ) stated that this was a display issue with the user interface’s candlestick chart and that there were no abnormalities in the K-line data through the API, thus not affecting the trades.
