Etherscan Acquires Solscan
Etherscan, a well-known blockchain data browser, has acquired Solscan, another popular blockchain browser on Solana, with the intention of integrating the two platforms to expand their data services.
Etherscan has not disclosed much about the acquisition details but has stated that it will continue to provide neutral and reliable blockchain data access services. The integration aims to enhance the accessibility of data from more public chains and support a more seamless user experience.
Matthew Tan, the founder and CEO of Etherscan, mentioned in the announcement that the Solscan team has demonstrated their expertise over the years by providing detailed insights and analysis. Their commitment to making blockchain data more accessible and their expertise in user-friendliness align perfectly with Etherscan’s mission.
Solscan may be included in Etherscan’s Explorer-as-a-Service (EaaS) product portfolio, which already includes popular public chain browsers such as Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Linea, and Scroll.
