AltLayer (ALT) Token Applications
AltLayer is an open-source protocol that adopts blockchain modularity and is designed specifically for Rollups. Its aim is to provide RAAS (Rollups-as-a-Service), allowing developers to choose the most suitable Rollups stack based on their needs.
According to the official announcement, AltLayer (ALT) tokens will have the following applications:
Advertising – Continued in the next section
Governance: Voting on protocol governance proposals.
Protocol fees: Network participants are required to pay network service fees with ALT tokens.
Protocol incentives: AltLayer ecosystem operators can receive ALT token rewards.
Economic bonds: ALT tokens are used together with assets for re-staking, where the more staked, the higher the weight in the system.
AltLayer (ALT) First Season Airdrop Summary
The first season airdrop of AltLayer consists of a total of 300 million ALT tokens, accounting for 3% of the total circulation. The snapshot was taken on January 17th at 08:00:11 Taiwan time, and the airdrop claim period is from January 25th to February 25th.

AltLayer will also allocate a portion of the airdrop to the EigenLayer team and related partners as a token of appreciation for their continuous support of the “Restaked Rollup” service.
