Achievements of Craig Wright:
Craig Wright has always claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. He switched his support from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and forked again to create Bitcoin SV (BSV) in 2018. He is an Australian citizen, hence the nickname “Faketoshi” in the community.
Craig Wright has always been skilled in legal battles, although he has never been able to prove in court that he is the real Satoshi Nakamoto. However, with the help of a professional legal team hired with his financial resources, he has always had the upper hand in various copyright infringement lawsuits.

Craig Wright certified as a fake Satoshi by the court:
According to CoinDesk, James Mellor believes that the evidence presented during the one-month trial is overwhelming. Before writing a complete judgment, he made the following statements:
Craig Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper.
Craig Wright did not use the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto between 2008 and 2011.
Craig Wright is not the creator of the Bitcoin system.
Craig Wright is not the original author of the Bitcoin software.
Crypto community resources actively assist, Craig Wright finally admits defeat:
Well-known Bitcoin OG, podcast host of “What Bitcoin Did” Peter McCormack, and Bitcoin.org owner Cobra have all suffered losses in lawsuits against Craig Wright, potentially forcing them to pay substantial legal fees, including paying Craig Wright.

However, there has been a turning point with the active involvement of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and Coinbase.
Jack Dorsey’s payment institution Square established the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) in 2021, aiming to protect the ideals of freedom and decentralization in the crypto community and assist in similar lawsuits like Craig Wright’s, while also defending against “patent trolls.”
COPA filed a lawsuit against Wright in 2021 to prevent him from taking legal action against developers and other members of the cryptocurrency community.
COPA stated to CoinDesk:
This ruling is a victory for developers, the entire open-source community, and the truth. For over eight years, Craig Wright and his supporters have been falsely claiming that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, using this lie to bully and intimidate the Bitcoin community and developers.
No more false claims of being Satoshi privately:
Craig Wright’s lawyer, Lord Anthony Grabiner, is clearly dissatisfied with the outcome, stating:
Such an injunction is unprecedented in the UK, and even Craig Wright could be fined or imprisoned for casually claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto in a park. The injunction is malicious, and the court should consider a judgment that does not violate Craig Wright’s freedom of speech. He should be able to express who he really is to his own community.
Judge James Mellor did not disclose when the final written judgment will be released, and Craig Wright has not publicly commented on the outcome.
