The decentralized finance (DeFi) project Prisma Finance, which claims to be the ultimate solution for liquid staking tokens (LRT), has been attacked. On the evening of March 28, the official team announced that they were aware of the attack and are currently investigating and handling the situation.
According to cybersecurity expert and founder of a cybersecurity company, Xuanyuan, Restaking was exploited, resulting in significant losses. Apart from the initial attacker, there are also some copycats who have followed suit. It is reported that the protocol has suffered losses exceeding $10 million.
Prisma Finance and Restaking have become the targets of this attack. The incident highlights the risks associated with the liquid staking token (LRT) project.
