Bitcoin Fundamental Analyst Willy Woo predicts that as institutional funds fully embrace Bitcoin as part of their asset allocation, the future price range for Bitcoin will be $650,000 and $91,000.
Willy Woo points out that traditional asset management firms have approximately $100 trillion in assets under management. According to Fidelity Investments, these firms typically recommend allocating 2% of funds to Bitcoin. This means that as more institutions participate in Bitcoin ETFs, there will be a flow of $2 trillion into Bitcoin.
The current market value of Bitcoin ETFs is approximately $56.1 billion in BTC. If all Bitcoin ETFs from institutional funds are fully deployed, the total amount will reach $2.56 trillion.
Using the MVRV indicator, according to MacroMicro, the current MVRV is 2.32. Typically, during market peaks, it will exceed 5, and during market bottoms, it will be around 0.7.
Based on this, the estimated upper and lower limits for the future market value of Bitcoin are $12.8 trillion and $1.8 trillion, or $650,000 and $91,000 per Bitcoin.
Willy Woo emphasizes that this rough estimate does not include inflows from sources other than ETFs. Typically, self-custodied Bitcoin inflows are much larger than ETF inflows, so this is a conservative calculation.
He also predicts that once all ETF issuers have completed deployment, the market value of Bitcoin will definitely surpass gold. Gold has experienced a 12-year bull market after the approval of physical gold ETFs, and now it’s Bitcoin’s turn.
However, Willy Woo concludes by stating that price targets are not specific to this cycle, and that it will take a long time for fund deployment to be completed.
