Energy Web, a non-profit organization in the energy sector, has announced a collaboration with PayPal to launch the Green Mining Initiative. This initiative aims to encourage Bitcoin miners to adopt green energy by providing additional incentives, in order to mitigate the energy consumption issue associated with Bitcoin. Currently, this initiative is in the stage of concept verification.
