The Ministry of the Interior sent a letter to the representative of XREX on March 25th, granting permission to establish the “Republic of China Virtual Currency Business Association” in accordance with the law. On the 26th, the first preparatory meeting was held, and 11 preparatory committee members were selected to officially form the preparatory committee of the association.

The representative of the preparatory group of the association, XREX, stated that the Virtual Currency Business Association (Preparatory Committee) held its inaugural meeting and first preparatory meeting on April 26th.
In the founders’ meeting, 36 founders voted to select 11 preparatory committee members to formally establish the preparatory committee of the association.

The 11 preparatory committee members will elect one chairman, and after voting, Winston Hui-Tsung Hsiao (Chain Technology Corp., XREX) will serve as the chairman of the preparatory committee.
The preparatory committee agreed to hold preparatory meetings at the Liti International Technology & Law Office every Tuesday and Thursday starting from the week of May 7th.
The preparatory committee plans to issue a membership recruitment notice on May 9th and hold the second preparatory meeting on May 17th.
First board of directors and supervisors to be announced in June
The preparatory committee aims to complete the preparatory phase in mid to late June and hold the first general meeting of members, where the first board of directors and supervisors will be elected.
The list of founders does not directly represent the list of members. All eligible industry players can apply for membership after the membership recruitment notice.
