According to a report from United Daily News, Li Xi, the spokesperson for the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), announced this morning at around 7 o’clock that from May 23rd to 24th, the PLA Eastern Theater Command organized joint exercises codenamed “Joint Sword-2024A” in the vicinity of Taiwan Island, involving land, naval, air, and rocket forces.
