The generative AI service platform “DaGe” (officially named MediaTek DaVinci) launched by MediaTek. Initially developed for internal use within MediaTek to enhance productivity and ensure data security, it has evolved into a generative AI service platform that can be adopted by external businesses. According to a report by Digitimes, a key feature of DaGe is its understanding of Traditional Chinese, supporting the Traditional Chinese large language model “MR BreeXe” developed by MediaTek’s Innovation Base, as well as other large language models. This capability enables DaGe to comprehend and process up to 40,000 characters of Traditional Chinese. MR BreeXe was trained on the supercomputer Taipei-1 built by NVIDIA in Taiwan.
