The cybersecurity software ScamSniffer released a phishing attack report for the month of April, stating that there were 34,619 victims and a total loss of $38.63 million USD. ScamSniffer indicated that up to 88% of the stolen assets were ERC20 tokens, and the majority of the attacks were attributed to network phishing signatures such as Permit, IncreaseAllowance, and Uniswap Permit2, resulting in significant losses.
