On July 5th, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) website released the latest list of virtual asset service providers (VASPs) compliant with anti-money laundering regulations. Among them, Taiwan Mobile’s General Manager, Lin Zhi Chen, serves as the responsible person for “Fusheng Digital Co., Ltd.,” represented by Taiwan Mobile as its legal entity. This marks “Fusheng Digital Co., Ltd.” as Taiwan’s 26th VASP and a member of the VASP Association. According to ChainNews, Taiwan Mobile’s application has finally been approved after a long wait. Looking ahead, the integration of Taiwan Mobile with exchanges is anticipated to bring diverse applications of cryptocurrency. Previously, Line Group had also launched cryptocurrency exchanges and platform tokens, along with NFT applications. However, due to regulatory constraints and market acceptance, these initiatives did not achieve significant success.
