She emphasized the need to improve Taiwan’s outdated personal information protection laws, adopt the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to safeguard citizens’ personal data, and align with international regulations to effectively supervise cryptocurrencies and prevent fraudulent activities.
