Reduced Voting Costs: By voting on external networks, using the current gas fee level on Polygon as an example, the cost of voting will be between $0.05 and $0.1. This is about 100 times cheaper than the current voting cost in Aave Governance v2. It may even be possible for participants to vote for free in the future. DAO will be recommended to cover all participants’ voting costs, and if there are 10,000 participants, the total cost will be only $750, which is affordable.
Reduced Native Token Operation Costs: There will no longer be balance snapshots for AAVE and stkAAVE in Aave Governance V3. These token smart contracts will be upgraded, and it is expected that the transfer of AAVE and stkAAVE will be approximately 75% cheaper.
Permissionless Automation: Although Aave Governance V3 has many stages that require interaction with the blockchain to generate state transitions, these stages can be automated through Aave bots. This is much more convenient compared to V2, which requires users to manually trigger the execution.
